So happy to learn that three of my photos are featured in the Oak Alley Spring 2014 Photo Contest book!
This is a Southern Plantation in Louisiana that screams inspiration (and Scarlett O'Hara-type dresses). The plantation is known for its path of dozens of hundreds-year-old Oak trees that line the path to the mansion. This view is indescribably gorgeous, and it is one of the most photographed plantations in the USA and has been featured in National Geographic. But these Oak Trees are such a show stopper, they often get all the attention, so the plantation held this contest to get photos of different perspectives.
